This cottage is a beautiful, mellow stone building situated in the peaceful village of Apsiou which is 17km north of Limassol and about 700m above sea level. The village is a good centre for visiting the majestic Troodos Mountains, and yet is only 30 minutes' drive by car from the beach. Apsiou is a typical Cypriot village with tavernas and a shop for groceries.

This charming, picturesque traditional cottage is reached from the road by 12 steps and entered through a yard with flowering shrubs and trees. There is a built-in barbecue and garden furniture. The cottage is built on two levels.

Two steps lead down from the kitchen area to an open plan sitting room with a beautiful open fireplace. It is furnished with a breakfast bar and high stools next to the kitchen area, also a sofa, antique trunk and a TV.

From the private yard a door leads into an open-plan kitchen with a dining table and chairs.The kitchen is equipped for four people and has a large fridge/freezer, cooker, washing machine, toaster, sink, utensils, iron and board.

The first bedroom with air-conditioning is reached by two more steps leading down from the sitting room. The second bedroom is reached by stairs and is above the first bedroom. Both bedrooms have double beds and are furnished with a dressing table, chest of drawers, a mirror, two armchairs and a sofa.
