Cyprus has two airports, the main one is in Larnaca and there is a smaller airport in Paphos. Larnaca is the better airport for destinations such as Protaras and Agia Napa and Paphos is closer for destinations in the western part of the island, such as Pissouri, Coral Bay and Polis. However, Cyprus is not a very large island and the drive from one side to the other should take no more than 2 1/2 hours along the new motorway.

British Airways and Cyprus Airways are the two carriers offering scheduled flights from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester to Paphos or Larnaca. Cyprus Airways also operate a flight from Birmingham.
If you live in Scotland, take a look at Globespan Airways. They are currently operating very reasonably priced flights to Paphos from Glasgow and Aberdeen. They also do a flight from Stansted to Larnaca.
