This cruise leaves Limassol Harbour every Wednesday from May to October. Transfers from your accommodation can be arranged, and you will sail in the evening on the Serenade, arriving in Haifa early on Thursday morning.
You will enjoy a full day on the Jerusalem and Bethlehem excursion, which lasts around 9 - 10 hours.
You will be driven from the port of Haifa along the beautiful coastal motorway, which follows the 2000 year old Way of the Sea. On the way you will catch glimpss of old and new Israel, passing the cities of Natanya, Herzelia and Tel-Aviv.
You will arrive in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. After passing by Rachel's Tomb you will visit the Church of the Nativity and the Grotto, built over Jesus' birthplace. Following your visit to the church and to a local souvenir shop, you will proceed to a restaurant in Bethlehem where you can enjoy a tasty lunch.
The Serenade is 162m in length, has 9 decks, and can carry up to 382 passengers. Facilities on board inlude the following:
THE SERENADE

After lunch you will depart Bethlehem and drive to the Holy City of Jerusalem. Entering through the Jaffa Gate, you will begin a walking tour of the old city. You will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Golgotha, where daily prayers are chanted by many Christian denominations over the place where Jesus was crucified and buried.
Your tour will continue through the exotic oriental bazaar to the Wailing Wall. On the way you will stop to admire the views of the Temple Mount and the Dome of the Rock and Al Aksa Mosques. You will then proceed past the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the Garden of Gethsemane and the beautiful Church of all Nations.
You will continue with a drive through modern Jerusalem where you can enjoy views of the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), the Museum of Israel and the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed.
Your last stop will be to the exhibition halls of the famous Caprice Diamond Centre, where you can enjoy a vast selection of diamonds and other jewellery.
You will then begin your journey back to Haifa, where the ships leaves at 8.30pm, arriving back in Limassol at 9am the following morning (Friday).
